Homosexuality and the World
God put a limit on sex. He intended marriage to be between a man and a woman. Genesis 2:24 says, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” Leviticus 18:23 says, “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” Likewise, Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” The woman is perfectly suited for the man, not a man for the man. In Genesis 2:18 God says, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a help meet for him.” “Help meet” is from a Hebrew word meaning counter-part or compliment. God provided Adam with someone that was suited to meet Adam’s social, psychological, emotional, and sexual needs (Bible and Homosexuality, n.d., para.3-7). The Bible says in Romans 1:26-27 (NIV),
“Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”
In Romans 1:32 God says, “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do this deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” These verses condemn homosexuality and say that those who practice and those who approve or support them or do not condemn homosexuality are sinning and deserve death.

I know that it is politically incorrect for me to agree with you 100%, but I do! God is not always politically correct, but He is always the same, and He is always right. It took courage to write this, and I applaud you.
I agree that woman with woman and man with man is wrong. God intended us to be with the opposite sex. (man with woman, woman with man.) I think if God wanted man to be with man, he would of made humans hermaphodites (having both male and female organs). God did not make us hermaphodites, therefore humans should not act like them.
Wow. This is very eye opening. I never knew all those verves, and how it actually points out that homosexuality is wrong. I mean I’ve always been for it, just because i have family members that are homosexual. But this does give me another view on things and I completly understand where you, and the Bible are coming from.
Strong Biblical support…what other sources did you use to confirm your thesis?
Thanks everyone.
The sources that are within my text are the ones that I used for this part of my report. Others that I did not use in this section include Concerned Women for America at

I hope my comment helps you if you wish to do further research on my topic. If you would like further information, then please comment back. Thanks!
Well, I agree with the fact that homosexuality is wrong, but if you are speaking about banning it in the United States, (which I’m not sure that you were) then that would be impossible due to our many freedoms. I don’t think we are able to decide what is right and wrong for other people, but only what is right and wrong for ourselves.
Dang it. Got off topic again.
